An extended monitoring support must be provided as per the contract and/or change control for the in scope projects for a specified period or to meet any specific criteria as per the contract and/or agreement with the Run team.

The WIP Lead should manage the agreement of entry and exit criteria for Governance Support by all relevant stakeholders. When the acceptance criteria have been met, ownership and accountability must be transferred to the Run teams.

Typically, all the issues/challenges faced by the Run team must be documented and the lessons learnt repository updated with the resolutions provided for the issues, if required. The WIP Lead must keep all the relevant stakeholders updated on the progress and highlight the risks observed, if any along with any additional support required to successfully accomplish ELS. The Responsibility Matrix For Support WIP should be revisited for any change in the roles and responsibilities.
